SKETCH COMEDY
This Might Make Sense
A Sketch of New York
Katie’s journey into comedy began in 6th grade, when she and her Destination Imagination team competed in the Virginia State Finals. From those humble beginnings, she developed an extensive improvisational repertoire in the DC Metro Area and NYC. Known for her loud screams and fearless physical comedy, Katie honed her slapstick chops as a member of the satirical sketch show A Sketch of New York. One of her favorite performances, the wildly absurd Diva sketch, was a crowd favorite at The Producers Club in March 2024.
As co-founder of the Sketch Comedy Group This Might Make Sense, Katie and her team took the NYC comedy scene by storm, performing live shows across the city and posting skits on social media. With impeccable comedic timing and a commitment to never breaking character (ever), she is equal parts force of nature and queen of punchlines.
When she’s not knocking out physical comedy routines, Katie enjoys portraying strong-willed women with soft edges, drawing inspiration from characters like Alexis (Schitt’s Creek) and the Red Queen (Alice in Wonderland). Her dream? Playing Will Ferrell’s daughter in a film, just to see who cracks first—spoiler alert: it won’t be her.
